Profile

Regional firm is seeking an experienced and highly qualified lateral Commercial Real Estate Attorney, focused on continuing to grow their existing practice and support the firm's busy commercial real estate practice.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Drafting and negotiating real estate finance documents
Title, survey, lease, zoning, and environmental due diligence review in connection with financings and acquisitions
Lease drafting and negotiations
Drafting and negotiation of Purchase and Sale Agreements and handling of the closing process for buyers and sellers
Review and drafting of Joint Venture Agreements
Review and drafting of authority/enforceability opinions
Analysis of basic land use matters
Collaborating with colleagues in marketing the Firm's real estate practice
Actively networking and participating in real estate and related organizations to further business development
Skilled at meeting deadlines under significant time pressure
Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously with a high degree of professionalism and client orientation
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail and ability to prioritize and work independently
Ability to manage time and resources effectively and independently
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Highly ethical and responsive to clients and colleagues
Requirements:
JD degree from an ABA accredited law school with exceptional academic standings. Admission to and in good standing with the Georgia Bar is a must. A minimum of seven years (7) of complex commercial real estate experience including real estate finance, leasing, and acquisitions and sales. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
