Liberty Personnel is partnering with a growing client adding a Manager/Controller to lead their internal reporting, month end close accounting function.
Responsibilities
Manage month end close function
Prepare journal entries
Reconcile and analyze balance sheet accounts
Analyze variances for monthly reporting
Ensure standard overhead and labor costs are accurate for reporting
Assist with budgeting, forecasting
Assist external auditors
Manage Sales tax filings
Manage cash flow accounting (checks, wire, ACH transactions)
Ensure internal accounting controls are GAAP compliant
Requirements
BS/BA in Accounting, Finance, or related field
8 years of related Accounting experience
GAAP knowledge in a Manufacturing setting
Microsoft Office, Suite including advanced Excel skills
SAP ERP system knowledge
Standard cost accounting knowledge
Multi-state experience
