A 100k director is a top level job involved in overseeing the performance of junior managers, and their team members. A 100k director acts as an interface between the operational level employees of the firm and senior management. A 100k director engages in advising and assisting senior management in planning and implementation of long-term strategies. The job also involves participating in successful change management in the organization. Some 100k director positions may also be levied with profit and responsibility of a unit assigned. Directors typically report to the general manager, chief operations officer, or vice president.A 100k director should have a bachelor\\\'s degree and 8-15 years of progressive experience in a specialized area of operation. Managers with 5+ years of experience at the junior manager level may also be eligible for a director\\\'s position.
