The vice president acts as one of the heads of the organization and works closely with the president. The vice president also fulfills the responsibilities of the president in his or her absence. The vice president also regularly discharges duties similar to those of the president, like managing aspects of the company\\\'s daily operations, and helps in formulating policies aligned with the objectives of the organization. The vice president spends much of his or her time with executive officers regulating the work structure of the organization. The vice president often works with the COO, or the chief operating officer, to ensure that the goals and aims of the organization are achieved within a desired time. Ultimately, the vice president is the shadow of the president and is generally understood to be the immediate successor of the president.The primary job qualification required for the role of vice president is an MBA or a management degree, along with loads of corporate experience. Expertise in the industry or any relevant technical qualifications would be an added bonus.
