Aon is looking for a Managing Director, Broking Strategy & Innovation As part of an industry-leading team, you will help empower results for our clients by delivering innovative and effective solutions as part of our Construction & Infrastructure business group within Aon Commercial Risk Solutions. You will be charged with broking strategy and innovation for C&I in the U.S. This role reports directly to the CEO of C&I and will collaborate closely with all relevant geographic and Global Broking Centers. Your impact as a Managing Director, Broking Strategy & Innovation:Job Responsibilities:Ensure Aon Broking strategies are developed within our practice to include partnering with C&I colleagues nationally.Build strategy for best-in-class, improved or new product offerings, specifically with an emphasis on innovation within the construction industry.Ensure C&I maintains preferred relationships with all key insurers, to include regularly scheduled annual or biannual meetings with key partners.Create and maintain structured portfolio solutions (SPSs) as advised by the CEO.Maintain, monitor and manage consistent commission rates across all product lines, including fee accounts. This will include establishing and maintaining an escalation process.Work directly with CEO and other C&I leadership around overall strategy execution.You Bring Knowledge and ExpertiseExperience:Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the insurance industryConstruction industry specific expertiseValidated collaboration skills to successfully innovate and influence internally and externally, maximising thought leadership in pursuit of greater client, partner and Aon outcomesExcellent presentation skills and the ability to clearly articulate sophisticated messages in written formAdvanced negotiation skillsStrong work ethicEducation:Bachelor’s degree preferredWe are an equal opportunity employer and value diversity at our company.
