Job Description
MRM is seeking an SVP, Strategy Director to be the global Strategy lead on a portfolio of brands that play a meaningful role in people's lives. The role reports directly to the Chief Strategy Officer.
The Responsibilities
CLIENT WORK
Architecting brand, marketing and communications across a portfolio of brands:

Mining culture, consumer, category, company, and communications/connections landscape
Determining truths and insights
Defining and activating brand positioning and messaging
Activating those brands to create meaningful relationships with audiences, including B2C and B2B

Empathetically understanding relationships, including moments and drivers & barriers
Designing Total Human Experiences, including brand, content, social, CRM, media across the end-to-end ecosystem (i.e., paid, owned, earned, digital and physical)
Partnering across disciplines (e.g., Data, Tech, Media), across IPG agencies, and with client to execute
Inspiring compelling creative in partnership with our Creative teams

Inform and inspire creative platforms
Develop creative briefs
Design and conduct research and analysis, from primary to secondary, qualitative to quantitative.
Identify insights and ideas with both logic and magic
Partner with Creative teams during creative development
Partnering with Business Leadership to...

Represent the agency with the most senior clients
Lead the account in a strategic manner, acting as trusted strategic advisor
Proactively identify the key problems to be solved, key opportunities to be captured, and key goals to be delivered on
Recommend and lead new workstreams as appropriate
Storytell in ways that make the complex simple and the simple compelling
Facilitate alignment across agency disciplines (e.g., Business Leadership, Creative, Technology, Data, Media, UX), network partners, and clients
Partner with and/or manage and mentor other Strategists on the business
THOUGHT & PROCESS
Take the strategy on your account and inform MRM's overarching approaches to strategy
Nurture partnerships with other Strategy disciplines (e.g., Social, Brand) as well as other agency disciplines, e.g., Creative, Tech, Data
Represent Strategy at MRM, within McCann Worldgroup, and where appropriate, in industry
TEAM/COMMUNITY
Promote an environment that encourages great ideas to flourish
Be an open, engaged leader that inspires community and team across MRM and McCann Worldgroup
Create a culture oriented towards positivity, problem-solving and resourcefulness
The Requirements
Experienced T-shaped integrated Strategy leader, with brand planning digital strategy expertise
Healthcare, B2B and B2C experience required
Omnichannel ecosystem development experience across paid, owned, earned; brand, content, social, experience, etc.; and ability to work with Media partners, Data partners, etc. to understand audience behaviors, segments, personas, etc.
Ability to work with Creative partners, and Technology partners
Understanding of performance and ability to work with Data & Analytics
12 years directly-related experience
Bachelor's degree in a relevant area
Exceptional communication skills - on the page and in presentation
Curiosity, passion, collaborative spirit, optimism to find the answer, work ethic to deliver
