Most importantly, in this role you will be
the glue that holds the
organisation
together
by being responsible for people, operations, budgets, project delivery and strategy and that will include responsibilities like (but not limited to):
Drive and track strategy execution for the engineering & product teams.
Be an advisor and thought partner to the VP, Head of India R&D & Operations (referenced Managing Director hereafter), and be able to stand-in during meetings, take key decisions and speak on their behalf.
Ensure the org is optimised and fit for purpose with the succession plan, meaning, helping to develop collaboration tools to drive Employees development, retention, and Employee Engagement.
Touchpoint/responsible for all business operations, this can be a subset of (Governance, AOP planning and tracking, Hiring, Vendor Management and Administration) or a collection of all. This scope can grow outside of the region.
Operational Accountability and Finance Transparency, drive cost efficiencies.
Work closely with the leadership team to establish the scope and goals of the effort and provide leadership for the program teams
Accountable for setting the Framework, processes & procedures across the Site/Business.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BRING TO THIS ROLE...
Solid track record of leading product teams and / or business operations management with a minimum of
1
2 years of experience.
Ability to hold together, drive and lead business operations and site governance
Well versed in working with international stakeholders and leaders
Possess ability to lay out plans, execute and monitor based on high level vision
A strong multi-tasker who can deal with multiple threads and follow through to completion
Ability to deal with ambiguity and provide clarity, cut through the clutter and bring in streamlined manner of operations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Good to strong understanding of budgets, AOP, finance
Must have led functional groups involved in some part of product / customer life cycle
Top class stakeholder management, outstanding communication skills to reflect clarity of thought
Demonstrated ability to take charge of tough problems, attacking them from different angles and bring together a diverse array of stakeholders on the same page and drive great business results.
Ability to define the right metrics, track and refine them and extract insights to drive decision making.
Ability to operate in a fast-paced, agile development environment and manage multiple, concurrent priorities and projects
Operational Excellence & Performance Management, as well as, bringing innovations into the workplace.
Qualifications:
Graduate / masters degree in technology or business. MBA will be a plus
