nThe Role:
nWe are seeking a VP, Cell Biology to lead and oversee programs from discovery to early development and IND-filing. Reporting to the CSO, as a key member of the Research and Early Development Leadership team, you will help define, develop and execute on **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.’s strategy in genome editing, synthetic biology, and basic biology research. You will oversee our Cell Hubs for stem cell biology, including in vitro and in vivo model translation, shepherd programs from lead candidate to IND-submission, and establish next-gene discovery programs for our gene-editing platform.
nThe ideal candidate has an outstanding track-record in basic research and drug-development. The VP, Cell Biology will bring strong scientific capabilities within molecular genetics, cell biology, and biochemistry with specific experience in mammalian genome editing. Deep functional expertise in primary cell differentiation (stem cell, myeloid cells, IPSCs, and/or T cells) is required. The VP, Cell Biology will be involved in program governance and strategy, present to the executive team, and represent our science externally. Success in this role also includes building partnering opportunities.
