Job Details:
SUMMARY: This position provides financial and business leadership while ensuring good stewardship of Tyson resources. Responsibilities include: operations financial support, product costing, reporting and analysis; competitive reporting and analysis; variance reporting and analysis; sales financial support; margin reporting and analysis; rate management and reporting; balance sheet management, reconciliation, reporting and analysis; metric scorecard reporting and analysis and category/customer pricing analysis; continual business process improvement identification and implementation; other duties as assigned. Duties also include leading finance accounting team to achieve business unit results. Quarterly responsibilities include projection preparation and analysis including risk and opportunity identification to the projection; business unit capital budget and CIR preparation analysis and reporting; ensuring proper internal control and SOX compliance within the business unit and other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS: Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent in an academic field directly related and essential to the job being evaluated. Experience: 6 years of experience. Computer Skills: Standard computer skills including generating spreadsheets, word processing and PowerPoint templates. Also, must be knowledgeable in SAP Financial applications and AFE. Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Supervisory: This position is responsible for supervising a group of personnel in multiple departments or work units who perform similar and/or interrelated tasks and activities. Special Skills: Relationship management skills. Detailed knowledge of all business cycles, systems and processes that impact sales. (Order to Cash, Generate Demand, Purchase to Pay, Production, Shared Services). Travel: 6 or more domestic trips per year.
