**MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***. (UC), Department of Athletics seeks applications for an Associate Athletic Director to serve as the department's Chief Revenue Officer reporting directly to the Director of Athletics. This is a full-time position, salaried, with a comprehensive benefits package.
The successful candidate will be expected to develop revenue generating initiatives within the Department of Athletics while complying with departmental, university, conference, and NCAA rules and regulations. Duties include but are not limited to:
*Provide oversight to Marketing & Advertising, Strategic Communications, Media Relations, Creative Services, and Ticket Sales to achieve department's revenue goals. *Develop, implement, supervise, and manage strategies focused on maximizing the development and growth of revenue, especially prioritizing ticket sales. *Foster a positive, entrepreneurial and high performing team culture focused on the customer along with first-class event presentation and fan experience. *Develop and implement operating structure, systems, policies and procedures necessary to ensure success of revenue generating efforts. *Develop and implement systems that provide real-time data to drive revenue generating decisions, marketing automation, and provide support to sales. *Leverage social media and communication strategies to drive ticket sales and brand awareness. *Maximize revenue by assisting in the development, management and maintenance of relationships with corporate sponsorship programs that are critical to the development of revenue and cost savings. *Serve as a liaison to IMG College, the university's multimedia rights partner. *Foster and maintain positive relationships with third party vendors. Responsibilities may include participation in contract negotiation.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree with seven (7) years experience; -OR- Associate's degree with nine (9) years experience; -OR- eleven (11) years experience. Degree must be in a related field. Experience must be in management.
The ideal candidate will have experience in revenue generation, data analysis, brand management, marketing, or strategic planning. Strong analytical and strategic skills in developing solutions for complex problems. Ability to gather and analyze data to support decision making. Strong communication skills.
The position often requires evening and weekend hours.
