Neos Consulting is a full service IT consulting and staffing firm headquartered in Austin, TX. We hire and retain highly qualified consultants on our team and we look forward to hearing from you. Our client in the D/FW area (Plano) is looking for a full time consultant to add to their team. We are looking for a candidate that has experience working in an Enterprise Software Application environment interfacing with C-level clients to elicit requirements during requirement gathering workshops, site visits and/or functional design discussions.
The Business Analyst will serve as the conduit between the customer community and development teams collaborating with developers and subject matter experts to analyze functional requirements delivering the following artifacts as needed: Functional Design Documents, Use Cases, User Interface Specifications, Business Process Flows and/or Testing Scenarios. The BA ensures quality delivery of projects.
Strong analytical skills are required, including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements.
The Business Analyst must have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Required Skills:
• 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst
• Demonstrated experience in gathering requirements and translating the requirements into functional design specifications, use cases and/or business process flows (Work samples required)
• Previous Big Four consulting experience. (Equivalent firms will be considered) • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities • Experience with Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) - Implementation through Deployment
• Experience with Agile/Scrum Methodology
• Experience with creating mockups, wireframes and prototypes
• Experience with MS Office and MS Visio
• Experience with leading/facilitating requirement meetings during business requirement gathering sessions or design discussions
Prior experience interpreting user needs and writing/editing functional design specifications
• Must be able to manage and prioritize requirements with the help of Solution Architects and the client and adjust the requirements based on timeline, complexity and other business drivers
• Must have experience communicating how changes in requirements result in changes to the original level of effort or timeline
• Previous hands on quality assurance background with experience full cycle testing of functional requirements and managing requirements traceability
• Experience with leading UAT preparation and execution Desired Skills:
• Experience with Oracle Applications & performing business analysis with Oracle projects
• Experience in any of these Oracle technology footprints: SOA, BI, ECM, IDM Education:
• Bachelor's Degree required • Master’s degree desirable
