In this position, you will:
Be accountable for the provision and quality of all nursing services at a facility level in support of Providence Health & Services System and Regional goals. This includes strategically ensuring a balance of optimal and efficient patient care; staff, patient, and physician satisfaction; and cooperative partnerships with other organizational departments and professional groups.
Have constant focus on patient-centeredness and staff and patient safety.
Create and maintain standards and systems for care delivery at their facility. These systems of care delivery system promote evidence-based practice and are designed to support the management of productivity targets within a context of constant change in patient volumes, patient acuity, and available resources.
Through leading in patient care delivery and planning strategically, consistently supports efficient and effective patient care services, and achieving organizational and system goals. This includes advancing the strategic vision and goals of the Oregon Nursing Center of Excellence.
Constructively manage change and promote a team-based approach.
The incumbent role models professional nursing standards and expectations consistent, performs all duties in a manner that reflects the Sisters of Providence Mission and philosophy.Each of these are considered an essential function:

Consistently uses personal protective equipment as required and takes appropriate precautions whenever there is potential for contact with blood, body fluids, chemicals and/or other hazardous materials. Maintains knowledge of work-appropriate aspects of environment of care programs, complies with policies and reports unsafe conditions. Successfully completes Environment of Care Healthstream modules in the required timeframes and participates in fire drills and emergency exercises.
Develops individual objectives consistent with the Providence Health System's Oregon Management System. Measures and reports on individual objectives quarterly.

Required qualifications for this position include:
MSN or Master's in related field.
BLS Healthcare Provider.
Current Oregon RN License.
10 years of progressive success in nursing and/or healthcare administration.
National Certification from ANA or Professional Organization in relevant field of clinical expertise strongly recommended.
