Network Engineer

Our client located in the Chicago Loop area is looking for a Network Engineer that has strong Cisco router and switch installation and configuration experience. You will be on a team responsible for enterprise level implementation and troubleshooting of Cisco series 3900-7200 routers and switches. You will also be responsible for implementing the Nexus series hardware nationwide.

Skills Requirement:

5 years of Cisco router and switch installation, configuration and troubleshooting experience

Strong knowledge of IP troubleshooting experience (BGP, OSPF or EIGRP)

Knowledge of implementing and supporting monitoring tools: Solarwinds, SNMP or Nagios

Installation and support of Nexus series routers and switches

Ability to work in large scale data center environments.

Knowledge of ASA or PIX firewalls

Troubleshooting of either MPLS or ATM/Frame Relay environments

Implementation and support of F5 load balancing environments.

Ability to provide Tier 3 troubleshooting support
