Work You'll Do
A Chief of Staff (COS) has a critical role as a member of the Cross Consulting Group (CCG) leadership team, with significant responsibilities in developing the strategy of the practice, defining growth goals, leading strategic initiatives, and working across the matrix on go-to-market collaboration. The COS advises and supports financial operations, talent programs and performance management, and promotes effective and efficient management of the practice in conjunction with the leader.
Key Responsibilities may include:
Strategy & Planning
Lead overall CCG strategy efforts and drive and enable execution of strategic priorities, in alignment with all four Human Capital offerings, national CCG, and the Senior Consultant Advise Experience (AEx)
Coordinate the development and execution of various initiatives, ensuring alignment across all OP CCG practices
Support CCG leader in managing and shaping practice engagement strategies
Lead matriculation strategy, including offering demand planning, practitioner preferences, leadership alignment and practitioner matriculation
Develop and deliver campus hire/intern staffing campaigns
Financial Operations
Collaborate and coordinate with finance partners to assess and determine how to take action on analyses related to revenue, profitability, operational performance and other important performance metrics and strategic KPIs
Support forecasting and periodic business processes
Analyze and make recommendations on CCG role in go-to-market activities, including pricing models, staffing tools, etc.
Talent
Work with the CCG talent leader and the talent team to set strategy and execute on talent programs/initiatives such as: recruiting, nominations process, specific training requirements, culture, community, and other talent programs
Lead a team of 15 practitioners to execute the overall engagement strategy, including monthly Connect calls, practice newsletters, leadership engagement events, and more
Manage undergraduate and advanced degree campus intern experience, including coordinating leadership programming, social activities, and Human Capital-wide engagement
Support campus recruiting strategy as voice of the business, aligning Human Capital offerings for recruiting of our strategy campus profile
Support performance management processes
Communications
Lead the preparation of meeting agendas and materials for various leadership and practice meetings
Develop practice communications and coordinate across the offering portfolio for execution of core communications
Knowledge Management
Oversee knowledge management for practice such as: maintenance of practice site, learning materials, reference materials, etc.
Point of Contact
Part of the Offering COS network across the offering portfolios
Act as representative for CCG leader in relevant meetings
Serve as point of contact for leader in responding to requests and navigating practitioners to the appropriate point of contact or resources

Qualifications
Client service experience at a manager or senior manager level preferred

Understanding of the firm initiatives and systems

Willingness to travel 25%-50%
The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Deloitte, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $168K-$280K.
