Profile

Position Summary
The AVP – Finance will report directly to the Sr. Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis. The Vice President of Financial will lead the FP&A analytics function within the FP&A team. Support will include forecasting, data analytics, strategic planning, and other related financial activities that drive transparency to the business and provide solutions to complex business challenges.
Reports to the Sr. Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis
Supports the executive leadership team
Supervises the FP&A analytics function and team
Interfaces with key functional departments such as Accounting, Human Resources, IT and other departments as needed
Primary Responsibilities
Provide financial analytics modeling and ad-hoc financial analysis support to business leaders as well as the FP&A team
Maintain portfolio modeling as well as multi-year forecast models
Refine/develop operational capacity models to ensure proper staffing levels are maintained
Manage cost per loan and margin metrics that drive business results and transparency
Interface with the accounting department to ensure that the business books and records properly reflect the business and its activities
Communicate financial results in a meaningful way to the business so that it is actionable and reflects insight into key variances
Develop, manage and retain key staff members
Qualifications
Required:
Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in business or finance
5-7 years related experience within the mortgage industry
Desired:
CBA/MBA preferred, but not required
