Vice President – Patient Care Services (Marlton, NJ)
In this leadership role, you will be responsible for leading, planning, organizing, delegating, and coordinating all nursing and related clinical services departments throughout Virtua Marlton, Berlin and Camden. You will ensure that the safest and highest quality clinical services are provided within the facility. Other responsibilities include staff productivity, the development, interpretation and implementation of departmental measurable goals, budgets and long range plans, the strategic development/leadership of the clinical/patient care services, and the continued development of nursing practice. This position will be accountable for the accomplishment of results and the achievement of objectives, consistent with the hospital/system mission, values and strategic and operational plans. The VP Patient Care Services will report to the Senior VP, Population Health South and Senior VP / CNO and will be a member of the senior leadership team. In addition, one of the key responsibilities for the new Vice President will be to learn the system initiatives within Virtua and local initiatives within the Marlton/Berlin/Camden facilities and create priorities for progress.
The qualified candidate must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing and a graduate degree (MSN, MBA, MHA, M.Ed., etc.) You must hold or be eligible to hold a license as a registered nurse in the State of New Jersey and have seven to ten years of management experience in patient care leadership and over ten years in nursing/healthcare. The ideal candidate will currently be serving as a CNO/VP Patient Care in a hospital within a large/complex health system. Candidates with substantive patient care leadership experience in large/complex medical centers will also be considered. Certification as a NE-BC by the ANCC or related/appropriate certification is preferred.
