Vice President of Sales Job Description:
Provides strategic direction and leadership for the sales operation.
The Vice President of Sales will develop the sales strategy and manage the sales team to successfully meet the company’s growth objectives.
Will ensure sales reports and other internal intelligence is provided to the sales organization. Will develop new reporting tools as needed. Coordinate with sales leadership and other stakeholders to lead efficient and accurate sales force reporting initiatives.
Will manage the company sales activities to help achieve short and long-term revenue goals and business development/marketing execution strategy.
Will partner with senior leadership to identify opportunities for sales process improvement.
Will foster an organization of continuous process improvement.
This position presents the opportunity for extensive customer exposure and will require excellent relationship building and sales skills as well as extensive IT knowledge.
Job Requirements
Professional Qualifications:
Four year degree from an accredited institution; masters in business administration (MBA) or equivalent preferred.
Must have experience in enterprise sales to the P&C Industry.
Ability to build national sales team and guide company sales strategy and execution
Experience in credit card processing industry a plus.
Excellent communication skills.
Professional, courteous and pleasant personality.
Proven track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals.
Goal driven individual able to manage sales in a designated region.
Self-motivated and flexible with the ability to lead sales reps team.
Strong organizational and time management skills
