Prudential Retirement is looking for a highly motivated, professional and experienced individual to fill a VP, Channel Management role in the Strategic Relationships organization. The VP will be accountable for leading the business development efforts by establishing new Partner relationships (Advisors, National Consultants and RIA's) and growing the activity level of existing partnerships in order to optimize opportunities from all channels. This position will work closely with Prudential's Full Service, Investment Only and Key Account teams. This position plays a critical role in the distribution success of Prudential Retirement's broad set of businesses. It is a very visible role and the successful candidate will be instrumental in helping the organization maintain healthy relationships with key external business partners. Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Responsible for the development, implementation and maintenance of the overall strategic business plan for key Partners within the territory in an effort to help drive sales activity and revenue 
Responsible for developing and maintaining key relationships at Senior levels with assigned Partner relationships
Responsible for understanding partners business model, identifying needs and uncovering sales opportunitiesat assigned  firms 
Responsible for growing relationships with new Partners (Advisors, National Consultants and RIAs), in addition to managing productivity with existing Partners
Oversees marketing and communication strategy with assigned Partners 
Works collaboratively with internal partners (Sales, Marketing, Product etc.) helping to provide market input and shape future Partner direction
Provides conference support for key national conferences 
Minimum of 7-10 years of retirement industry experience
Minimum of 5 years of specific experience identifying, growing and maintaining relationships with Advisors, National Consultants and RIAs in an external business development role
Existing relationships and experience working in the territory preferred
Experience working a large geographic territory
Effective business partner and collaborator
Conceptual thinker able to identify and solve for key business issues
Ability to think creatively and conceptualize new approaches to business needs
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels
Series 6 within 120 days of hire
Willingness to travel up to 75% of the time
