Senior Commercial & Multifamily Loan Administrator/Processor

The VP,
Senior Commercial & Multifamily Loan Administrator/Processor
is responsible for management oversight of loan processing and funding of commercial real estate and multifamily financing transactions.
Assembles and monitors loan application packages for thoroughness prior to underwriting and loan funding. Review all information provided in the application package for completeness. Red flag any and all inconsistencies for the underwriter's attention
Order and review of credit reports, flood certifications; order and track property valuation and environmental reports
Orders title reports and Review approval of title matters and requirements for endorsements as dictated by normal procedures and as may be required by management
Perform legal review of complex entity documentation, determine what documentation is required and from which principals, require explanations for any discrepancies and obtain appropriate documentation to correct discrepancies.
Audit and review of lease agreements and preparation of subordination agreements on commercial real estate loans
Audit loan file for completeness and to determine that all bank requirements and guidelines have been met or obtain the appropriate documentation to reflect approval of an exception to requirements.
Obtaining and reviewing the appraisal and environmental reports and bringing any and all issues to the attention of the processing supervisor or an Underwriting Manager.
Obtaining property insurance information in accordance with the Statement of Insurance Requirements Letter.
Coordinate, review and approval of borrower formation and authorization documentation with legal department; coordinate review of any unusual problems or challenges with legal.
Prepare memo to Underwriter listing any possible conditions for approval, and items the processor is still following
Exhibit a sense of urgency towards meeting client requests while also meeting acceptable risk parameters.
Remain up-to-date on all bank compliance regulatory policies and procedures and on all pending and proposed regulatory changes affecting Bank compliance.
Strong working knowledge of income property lending loan documentation and terminology
10 years of multifamily and commercial real estate loan administration and processing experience.
Knowledge of required entity documentation, ability to determine the structure of the entity, the ability to review entity documentation for needed amendments or issues, and the ability to determine the signature line for loan documents
Strong organization and time management skills.
Ability to take initiative with minimal direction, to work on multiple transactions simultaneously and to meet deadlines.
An thorough understanding of the structures of different borrowing entities, title insurance and the loan closing/funding process.
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Works well in a team environment.
Must be proficient in MS Word and MS Excel.
