Role Summary:
Overall accountability for the delivery of CRE real estate Transactions Management, Project Management and Design Management Services to clients across the portfolio. Develops and executes key real estate programs, relationship management of executive level business unit clients, portfolio strategy development, workplace solutions development, Market condition assessments and location advisory, M&A integration strategy. Accountable for the performance of CRE’s commercial brokerage and transactions management partner, and external Project Management and Design Management partners. Ensures CRE service functions meet the strategic and financial goals of Nationwide companies.
Key Responsibilities:
30% Oversees all commercial brokerage and real estate transaction activities for Nationwide and its subsidiaries with an average annual transactional value of $48M and combined total rents in excess of $320M. Responsible for the transactions management of all leased properties. Combined, these include more than 300 offices in excess of 3M square feet.
30% Oversees all project delivery for tenant improvement projects throughout the portfolio of over 8M sf. Manages external relationship with project management firm supporting Nationwide CRE project needs.
30% Manages the design group within CRE, developing and managing Nationwide's Workplace Guidelines, completion of all executive projects and the development and approval of emerging workspace concepts.
10% Oversees the timely and successful delivery of Small Campus projects, Quick-Response Projects, and other CRE project services.
Team Composition:
5 direct reports, total internal staff of 15, significant interactions with external partners
Undergraduate studies in accounting, finance, real estate, or related fields. MBA or other related advance degree/certifications such as JD preferred.
Prefer related professional certifications such as: CPA, MCR (Manager of Corporate Real Estate), RPA (BOMA Real estate4 Property Administrator), FMA (Facility Management Administrator), CCIM, PMP (PMI Project Management Professional). Experience/Skills:
Ten to fifteen years real estate leadership experience, including managing or leading related fields of real estate, asset or facility management.
