Our  Emissions Control Technologies
is looking for a  Vice President, Sales & Program Development, Chrysler-Fiat BU
 at Columbus, IN.
Main purpose of job:
Ensures the complete consolidation and coordination of all sales and programs activities  (customer strategy with international development, program acquisition and management, serial life till end of production) for a division (one or several accounts)
Customer strategy
Prepare at least once a year with his team and the Key Account Manager the customer strategy  and the Strategic Account Planning :
Documents and synthesises the Customer evolution in the next years
Defines how Faurecia will adapt to this evolution, the Key projects to be acquired as well as the steps to be reached in the business processes,
Takes into account in the Customer Strategy the priorities of the Product Line Management and the related evolution
Defines with the Key Account Manager the Customer Intimacy Development Plan (Key Managers and influence persons from the customer, where Faurecia has to develop a specific relationship)
Deploys , after validation through the Product Line Top Management, the strategy within his team and the other operational units of the Product Line (operations, development, international development),
Monitors and follows-up all activities for his customer within the Product Line and outside of his direct management field (international development such as Asia, Mercosur, …)
Customer satisfaction
In charge of all the aspects of customer satisfaction
Relays all customer request and feed back within the organization
Defines, Monitors the progress action plan and reports towards the customer on its progress
Defines the activities of his team and monitors the priorities ,
Makes sure that the required resources in the organization, especially for programs  are available in due time. If not, monitors direct action towards the related units and escalates the issue to Product Line Management,
Defines the objectives to be achieved for the next period,
Follows-up the progress of the activity, organises regular activity review internally,
Intervene at customer management level in case of any problem unsolved directly by the operational teams in charge.
Follows the main activities of the sales team and checks that the Faurecia processes (Acquisition, Price Management, …) are rigorously applied. Reviews with the Sales Director the progress of the Sales activities with focus on Acquisition, Program (Sales of ECR), Serial life (productivity, overdues, claims)
Supports the Sales Director in his negotiation with the Key Account Manager about any changes on Terms and Conditions,
Reviews with the Sales Director any extraordinary issue such as Claim to be submitted to Customer
Acquisition and Program Management
Ensure early launch of Acquisitions, directly monitors the Acquisition process within the Division,
Reviews the commercial strategy and the contractualization within the Acquisition Process, gets appropriate validation at Product Line level
Monitors  the Programs with a complete monthly follow-up. Ensures that all risks are evaluated, put under control and correctly taken into account in the program finance.
Is directly responsible for the Program Profitability and the reliability of the data,
Customer profitability
Is directly in charge of the consolidated profitability of the Customer Account, follows up the progress of the main contributors  (sales, serial life activities including product productivity plan, purchasing and operations),
Reports any deviations with regards to the targets (budget, PMT) and defines appropriate action plan for convergence.
Documentation within Faurecia
Checks that the teams reporting to him keep updated a proper documentation on all sales and programs activities agreed with the customer  (see job description of sales engineer)
Job Requirements
- Master’s degree in engineering. Additional degree in Business Management (for example MBA) is a plus.
-10 years of experience Automotive industry. Previous Assignments in Sales and Program Management required. Previous experience with the customer in relation with the division or available customer relationship network is a plus.
- International experience (for example on international projects) or preferred with a foreign assignment within past experience.
- Strong management skills

- Team player with strong communication skills
- Ability to develop relationship and network internally and within the customer organization
- Business results oriented
- English required
