We’re seeking to hire an experienced Technical Architect
to work at our NWP Labs facility in Bloomington, MN.
Summary:
This position will be responsible for designing solutions to meet the needs of the NWP Resident ePay Product Family. Eventually the TA will have responsibility for Finance Systems, and other business and operational systems.
Responsibilities
Lead requirement gathering sessions with business users
Translate business needs into concise business requirements
Write functional designs that describe a system’s behavior as seen by an end user
Review technical designs developed by Software Engineers and others to ensure that they are consistent with NWP standards and that they meet our business needs
Research root causes of system failures and determine appropriate corrective action
Develop tools and scripts to automate business processes and assist in recovery due to system errors
Drive innovative solutions that achieve business and operational efficiencies in support of NWP’s business objectives, strategies, and goals
Adhere to TMC Policies and Standards
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree required
7 years in a technical role, 3 years in a leadership role
Strong accounting background, ideally in banking and/or electronic payments
Resident ePay Payments knowledge and experience required
SQL, reporting, and programming skills
Working knowledge of C , C##, VBL, and SQL 2008 or above
Microsoft Web Technologies
System design and architecture experience
Strong oral and written communication skills
Exceptional analytical skills
Outstanding team player
Strong leader
Thrives in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple tasks
Experience in both systems development and production support environments
In-depth knowledge and experience with customer billing systems, preferably within the multi-housing industry
Consistently exercise discretion and independent judgment in execution of responsibilities
Travel may be required up to 10% of the time
