Senior Software Engineer - Java

Our client is seeking a Senior Programmer Analyst - Java to be responsible for delivering successful J2EE solutions within the application development infrastructure for their company.
Minimum Education:
-Bachelors degree in Computer Science; Engineering, Math or Business with an emphasis on Management Information Systems, or related technical field.
-However, upon evaluation, equivalent related experience and/or education may be substituted for degree requirement.
Minimum Experience:
-Six (6) years technical work experience in a software development environment that required advanced Java programming language and UNIX-based platform experience, working independently and in a team-based environment.
-However, a Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related discipline may be substituted for two (2) years of the required experience.
-1 year experience with JMS and Java Persistence /OR Mapping (Hibernate or other).
-1 year of use cases and UML required.
-Experience coordinating software development resources or teams.
-Experience with relational databases and JDBC.
Key Knowledge:
-Advanced knowledge of the development life cycle including testing process and methods, variable programming fundamentals, conditional execution, data structures, compilation and debugging tools.
-Knowledge of Oracle, BEA Weblogic, IBM Websphere MQ, Business Objects XI and Business Objects data Integrator helpful.
Key Skills:
-J2EE, JMS, XML, EJB 3.0 Persistence (Hibernate and equivalent), and Object Oriented Framework design, Web services and relation database technology or other preferred.
-Proven organizational, analytical, and creative problem solving skills.
-Excellent written and oral communication.
-Ability to prioritize, multi-task, and meet deadlines.
