Job Profile Salary range: 26.33 - 32.14 per diem Summary of Duties - Registers all patients for services. Secures necessary authorizations for services. Collects co-pays and deposits. Orders ancillary tests, schedules appointments for certain tests, answers phones, and meets and greets patients. Required high school diploma or equivalent. Medical terminology courses preferred. Required: six months to one year on the job registration or admitting experience. Understanding of insurance coverage and medical terminology required. Required 25 wpm typing. Required: good verbal and written communication skills and computer skills.
