The Principal, Marketing Operations Analyst will report directly to the Sr. Manager, Marketing Operations, and will serve as a liaison between the Business Lines, Field Marketing, Global Demand Center and Digital Strategy/Web team to ensure their CRM needs are appropriately supported and executed, and optimized.  The role is
focused on designing, implementing and maintaining services that are critical to our marketing automation system and lead generation processes.
Responsibilities:
Sales & Marketing Automation Strategy
Contribute to consistent global process for the management of all leads for the organization
Optimize lead scoring and distribution methodology to ensure quality leads are passed to sales for qualification and for increasing efficiencies and conversion rates
Conducts New Hire and additional sales/marketing training as necessary for lead processing
Generate and analyze key performance indicators and publish reports and conclusions
Summarize technical design to non-technical audiences; collect and maintain documentation
Technical Operations
Own all aspects of the setup and administration in Eloqua; manage support issues and escalations
Identify, evaluate and scope process improvements to our Eloqua instance and integrated applications
Define processes to ensure Progress is leveraging the functionality available within Eloqua & SFDC to meet business requirements
Oversee the development & support of new program flows and procedures within Eloqua
Enhance, test, & monitor the integration between Eloqua & Salesforce
for data quality & lead processing
Support web form strategy through
execution of the development & support of new templates,
forms, landing pages, emails
Enhance, test, and monitor the integration between Eloqua and CMS system / web forms
Evaluate the capabilities of present systems and data sources, collect key requirements from target audiences, identify gaps between current systems and requirements
Support Progress cloud strategy through collecting requirements for each product release & translating requirements into configuration / integration work directly in Eloqua
Performs basic salesforce.com system administration and configuration tasks as needed
Troubleshoots data and system issues by using a combination of system expertise, company knowledge, and detailed research/investigation
Build & support Eloqua nurture programs
Campaign Management & Best Practice
Execute & support marketers globally in execution of marketing campaigns
Provide leadership in the use of marketing automation & “go to” expert resource for marketing automation support
Provide best practice consultancy to field marketers in the areas of email and campaign management
Manage complimentary marketing & sales technology vendors – contracts, deliverables, etc.
Utilize campaign object in Salesforce to ensure accurate reporting of marketing metrics
Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Marketing or related field.
Minimum 6 years experience in Marketing Operations or similar position
Advanced user of marketing automation systems like Eloqua and Salesforce.com
Understanding of lead management processes and technologies
Excellent communication skills: verbal, written, presentation
Project management skills
Process and quality orientation with attention to detail
Ability to play both a strategic & tactical role, team player willing to get the job done
Ability to develop good relationships with team members as well as across the business
Proven strong analytical and technical ability
