Lead Network Engineer

We are currently looking for a Lead Network Engineer to provide support to the Department of Justice. Due to the nature of the work, applicants must have the ability to obtain a DOJ clearance which requires a criminal background check and US Citizenship. Please send resumes to MARK. ****.

Provide telecommunication expertise as well as technical recommendations for design and architecture to support the objectives of OJP. Evaluate communication hardware and software, troubleshoot issues with routers and switches, LAN and other network related problems. Work with VPN, network monitoring tools such as Spectrum and Cisco Works. Provide technical expertise for performance and configuration of networks. Required to work additional hours and on maintenance Saturday as required. Travel to offsite locations in Rockville, MD and Dallas, TX as needed to perform routine maintenance. Prepare network diagrams as requested.

6 years of experience managing other network engineers.

Must have CCNP certification.

BS degree in computer science, information technology, or other related discipline. May substitute experience for degree
