Premier Global Investment Bank is seking an strong C# developer within their Wealth Management trading team. The Trading team is responsible for implementing and supporting trading, order management and portfolio management applications for Wealth Management sales teams, traders, and portfolio managers in locations around the world. The platform has been built using state-of-the-art technology, connecting to all major Equity trading systems, provides support for Fixed Income, Option Spreads, FX, Structured Notes, and other instrument types making the system unique in the firm as a one-stop-shop for order entry of any type of product.
Responsibilities:
We are looking for a technically strong .NET developer who is self-motivated and able to work at a fast pace. The ability to work independently and across development teams and other technology teams is essential. Hence, we are also looking for strong analytical and communication skills and ability to work confidently with other technology teams. Design and develop new functionalities for the Trading and Portfolio Management applications. Work with Sales teams and trading desks across /Securities division and compliance on a global basis to gather requirements. Analyze requirements and translate into technical designs, develop and enhance existing systems including implementation and rollout/training to global client base new development and existing system enhancements). Production applications support of new and existing applications.
Required experience:
- At least 2-3 years experience of developing distributed .NET applications in C# required
- Strong object oriented design skills
- Experience in GUI development
- Database experience
Experience that would be a plus but not required:
- any J2EE application suite (which includes but is not limited to technologies like JBoss, Weblogic, RMI, EJB, Servlets, HTTP, HTML/DHTML)
- Experience with requirement initiation, definition, and documentation a strong preference.
- Experience with order management systems a plus
- Basic business knowledge of securities trading
