One of the reasons that people continue to go to school and try to further their education is to be able to move up the corporate ladder into 100K jobs. This means that in many cases, upon receiving a bachelors or masters degree, we are looking to step into a more productive and more profitable role within the career of our choice. In many cases, we are looking to start making at least one hundred thousand dollars a year so we will feel the time and effort put into the education has been worthwhile.
One of the best things that you can do when looking to get 100K jobs is to look at a job forecast. This will give a sense of what type of field will prove to be the most lucrative in the next four to six years. Here, you will be able to get a realistic job preview as well as the forecast will be able to tell where the field will be and what the possible expectations of the various positions in the field will be. Many times, it is not easy to predict the future so the market will fluctuate as far as the jobs that will be available versus what is predicted.
Once you have analyzed the job preview and decide on a career path that is based on where you feel you will fit in and what degree you will be pursuing, you will be able to see what type of school you will need to attend. The field will determine the school that will best fit your needs to get the graduate jobs you are looking for. There are many different fields out there that are offering and have 100K jobs available for people who have your qualifications once you finish school. You will need to pursue these jobs vigorously. The reason for this is that there are currently so many people looking for work and the number of jobs available is fewer than the number of people who are looking for those jobs.
To have the best chance to land 100k jobs, you will need to present yourself as the best possible candidate. That will mean that you will need to start looking and contacting many of the companies that have the position you are looking to fill available. One way is to attend job fairs, or by simply visiting the companies that may have graduate jobs that would suit you. Here you will be able to get to know some of the people in the company and create an 'in' as they will know who you are when you submit your resume. Do not forget about doing internships so you will have real world experience. Internships are another great way to make yourself known to the companies you would like to work for and it gives the company an opportunity to see what you can contribute to their organization.
You will need to keep your eyes and ears open and know when 100K jobs do become available. This is through looking at the papers and online as well as through use of contacts you have made with a company as they may let you know when something is opening up. You will be able to get your resume in quicker and possibly be able to have someone put in a good word for you. Don't always wait for an opening in a company to submit your resume. If you submit your resume before an opening comes up, you could have a better chance as you have shown them you are proactive.
Many times, the position you will be seeking will be manager jobs. If you are an outsider coming in, your chances may not be great if they do interview internally. You will need to have the right education as well as relevant experience to be able to find all of the necessary tools you need to get the 100k jobs you seek.
